Absence

Parents can report student absences by email at: lakeshore@cbe.ab.ca or can call the attendance line at 403-817-3440 X 1.  We prefer if our parents notify the office directly of their child's absence. Often the information does not get to the office in a timely manner if sent directly to the teacher's email. 

In your email / message please the leave the following details:

• Student first and last name
• Teacher
• Classroom
• Duration of absence 
• The reason why

Extended Absence

We ask that you send an extended absence form to the office indicating the first and last day of your child's absence. 

Temporary/Change of Guardian

If the child's guardian has changed, or the primary guardian will be absent for a period, we need to know. We ask that you contact the office with names and numbers in writing. Please note that we cannot release a child to anyone without your authority.
