2026-2027 Registration / Lottery Information
Here is the important information you need for next year:

·      Lakeshore School remains in a lottery / overflow position for the 2026-2027 school year.

·      All students currently in Grades 6-8 enrolled at Lakeshore will roll forward into new grades – there is no action required.

·      Students currently in Grade 9 will be designated to Joane Cardinal Schubert School for Grade 10 – there is no action required.

·      Students currently enrolled in Gr 5 who are attending our feeder schools Auburn Bay, Bayside, or Mahogany will be auto enrolled in our lottery based on their priority levels (see CBE lottery process information)

·      Registration / Transfer Requests for the 2026-2027 school year will begin on January 12.

·      All new registrants are asked to familiarize themselves with the CBE registration process (for students not currently with the CBE)  / CBE transfer process (for students currently with the CBE) and the CBE lottery process.

·      Students currently on callback lists for Grades 6-8 will retain their spot on the list for Grades 7-9 with new registrants finding spots within their priority categories through the lottery process.

·      To be considered for the lottery, applications / transfers need to be received by February 10^th at noon. The lottery will take place on February 11^th with communication to families coming in as timely a manner as possible.

·      If you are currently attending Lakeshore and are planning on moving schools, or changing addresses outside of Auburn Bay or Mahogany, please email lakeshore@cbe.ab.ca to inform us of your plans.
