Lottery Information for 2024-2025

Our Lottery and Call-back process for 2024-2025 was completed on February 14, 2024. Status information was sent to incoming grade 6 families that afternoon. Information for prospective students in grades 7-9 will be sent out early this week. All students who do not receive notice of acceptance will remain on the Call-back list throughout the remainder of this year and into next year, and it is our intent to offer spaces directly if and when they come available.

Lates

We have been examining our attendance data for the current school year and seeking student and parent support to improve these numbers. We have soft entry starting at 8:20 AM (10 min before class start) in the morning, and at 1:01 PM (5 min before class start) in the afternoon.

Free Vaping Awareness Session for Parents

The Southern Alberta Assessment Consortium will be hosting a free online session for parents on vaping awareness on March 6 from 7-8:30 PM. In this session, parents will learn about what vaping is, current vaping trends among youth and the harms and risks associated with it. Ideas on how to talk to kids and help them quit, as well as where to go for more information will also be covered. Registraton link is here: https://www.sapdc.ca/program/12177.

Morning Drop-off Information for Tuesday, February 20

Parents, please be aware that several of our Grade 6 students will be being dropped off in the morning with their gear for Outdoor School. This may cause heavier traffic than usual.
