Casino and Bingo Volunteers Needed
Do you have volunteering for your child’s school on your list of new year resolutions? Lakeshore is hosting our first casino in March 2025, and we require several volunteers. Please consider supporting the school for our most significant fundraiser. Volunteers do not have to parents, so other family members or friends are eligible. Please visit the sign up page HERE, or contact our Casino Chair via email at lakeshoreparents.comms@gmail.com. We also have regular bingos where we always need volunteers.
Comps Course Showcase / Band Concert – January 23
Our Complementary Course Showcase, Band Concert and Bear Fair will take place on Thursday, January 23 with the showcase starting at 4:00 PM and the concert starting at 6:00 PM.
School Supply Refills
Students in grade 7-9 are responsible to provide their own school supplies. Parents, please check in with your child to see if they need anything to help get 2025 started right and finish the first semester the right way.
AHS Mental Health Support
The Summit is designed and built to provide mental health services for children and youth. The centre offers free therapeutic support through a day hospital and community-based treatment. It also provides walk-in services for anyone under 18 years of age and their family who would like to speak with a counsellor. Walk in services do not require a referral. Parents are able to go with, or without, their child when seeking support: https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/summit/summit.aspx
