Hello Lakeshore Families,
Welcome to 2026! I hope that everyone had an enjoyable break and that your kiddos are ready to get back to school. Here are the updates for the first week of the calendar year:
Thank you, Parents!
The Lakeshore Staff would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all parents for a great send-off prior to the break. The holiday baking was incredible and is a beloved tradition for everyone at our school. Thank you to the School Council volunteers who make this happen.
New Year / Same Routines
For students to experience the most success at school, they need to show up and arrive on time. If attendance and punctuality have been an area of growth for your child, let’s start the new year off on the right foot! As always, if you child is going to be absent, or late, please notify the office staff by email at lakeshore@cbe.ab.ca.
Semester 1 Course Fees Now Due
Parents are asked to check their MyCBE account to check for and attend to any outstanding course fees.
Semester 2 Starts January 28
Our second semester will begin on Wednesday, January 28. As a reminder, we do not facilitate complementary course changes.
Field Trip Fees Non-Refundable
As teachers plan out field trips and other fee-related experiences for students, they create budgets based on a per-student basis. The fees cover program costs, bussing, and sub coverage (if needed) and therefore fees paid are non-refundable due to missed attendance. Thank you for your understanding in this regard.
