Welcome to June! There are many calendar events scheduled for the for the final month of the school year, including many field trips. Here are your updates for the week ahead:
Lakeshore Drama Presents Disney’s’ The Little Mermaid Jr.
Best of luck to all our performers and supporting students who are set to take the stage on Monday and Tuesday for our production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. The students are proud to show off the result of the months of hard work they’ve been putting in. Tickets should be in the hands of family members already, but if you have any last-minute questions, please contact Ms. Taylor at bvtaylor@cbe.ab.ca. See you at the YMCA theatre!
Transportation Registration
Families who would like to utilize yellow bus transportation need to register by June 22 to ensure their students are included in route planning for the start of the 2025-2026 school year. Registration information is available HERE.
Curbside Cuts – Two Weeks Left
The summer weather is giving off BBQ vibes and parents are asked to help consider pushing our Curbside Cuts fundraiser forward. There are three easy steps: 1) visit www.curbsidecuts.ca and fill up your cart, 2) at checkout, enter your child’s homeroom teacher and grade (ex. wideman6) which will give you a discount, 3) wait for delivery to your home. So far, Mr. Mackinnon’s class is leading the way in sales.
All Library Books Due
Our staff have been working with students to clean out lockers and classrooms looking for school library books. If your child has library books at home, please have them returned back to school directly.
Bears Athletics
Our Track team will be in action on Wednesday and our Football teams will take the field on Friday in our final events of the athletics season. We are so proud of our athletes and parents who support them. Go Bears!
Hot Lunch Options
Tired of making lunches? Offerings for the week of June 9 include A+W, Opa, Wayback Burgers, and Popeyes. Orders can be placed HERE. Pizza Wednesdays continue for $5 in the snack shack.
