Struggling With Managing Screen Time?
Our students have identified struggles in managing screen time as having a major impact on their well-being. This concern is also shared with many parents. What is normal for the age? What are the impacts? What are the alternatives? How can we avoid conflict / struggle? The Lakeshore School Council is offering an in-person session with the experts from Creative Sky Psychology to discuss this and more in a free in-person session on Wednesday, April 15th. Please save the date and plan to join us at the school. Kindly RSVP to Ms. Nimmo at sknimmo@cbe.ab.ca and we hope you can attend.

Complementary Course Selections
Students in Grades 6-8 will make their complementary course selections for the 2026-2027 school year at school this week. Parents are asked to review the Lakeshore Complementary Course Guide with students to review their choices.

Fee Collection
Complementary course fees from semester 1 are now past due and semester 2 are now due. Parents, please log into your MyCBE account to ensure all payments are up to date. Payments can also be made at the office using credit / debit during our regular office hours. Notices of outstanding balance will be emailed to parents.

Order Your Yearbook Now
Online yearbook orders continue with the deadline approaching quickly. Secure your yearbook by visiting the Lakeshore Yearbook Site. If you would like confirmation on whether or not you have already ordered a book, please check in with Ms. Hopkins at mnhopkins@cbe.ab.ca.

Volleyball
Good luck to the Junior Boys' and Junior Girls' volleyball teams who are both going into Semi-finals (and hopefully Finals this week). The Senior Girls’ volleyball team has advanced to the finals this week. Best of luck to all teams as they pursue Lakeshore’s first volleyball title.
