Welcome back from Spring Break, and we are looking forward to seeing our students back at school this week. Here are your current updates:

Thanks for Conferences
Our staff wanted to thank all families who popped in online for conferences on Thursday night and Friday morning before break. It’s always great to connect and discuss student progress.

Bears Athletics
Badminton
Our badminton season is officially ON with tryouts to begin this week. The tryout schedule is:

·      Grade 6 – Tuesday @ 3-4:30 PM; Thursday @ 7:30 AM

·      Grade 7 – Tuesday @ 7:15 AM; Thursday @ 3-4:30 PM

·      Grade 8 – Wednesday @ 3-4:30 PM; Friday @ 7:15 AM

·      Grade 9 – Wednesday @ 7:15 AM; Monday, April 7 @ 3-4:30 PM

The team practice schedule will follow on the same days and times.

Grade 7 Drumheller Field Trips
We want to wish our Grade 7s all the best as they embark on their overnight trips to Drumheller this week: April 1-2, Mr. Hull and Ms. Stewart; April 2-3, Mr. Koshin and Ms. Nietmann. Next week: Ms. Shoults and Ms. Matkowski, April 8-9; Ms. Wesley and Ms. Taylor, April 9-10. Students in homerooms 7-4 and 7-8 will join one of these scheduled groups.

BBQ Season is Coming!
The snow may have slowed the momentum, but spring is here and that means BBQ season! Our School Council is preparing for the next fundraiser which will feature boxes of meats from Curbside Cuts. Start making room in your freezers. Information is coming soon!

Hot Lunch Options
Options for the week of April 7 include Via Cibo, Wayback Burgers,  Spolumbos and Opa. Orders can be placed HERE.
